May

Looks like the season is already upon us. We've been training hard since the end of last season and now its time step into the ring. Team members Louis Boiteau and Mike Cascioli will be competing in Marlborough, Massachusettes on May 15th. Good luck guys.

We would also like to welcome Tim McCrea, Joe Brellisford and Niel Hubley to the team. These guys are working out hard and are sure to do well in their first event.

March

We would like to welcome Starfield Lion to the team. The entire team will be fitted with new, electric blue bunker gear this season. It feels great, looks awesome and custom fitted to each member. The Hamilton Fire Department is also exclusively wearing Starfield Lion equipment.

January

The team is now working out full time at CrossFit Ancaster. Under the new ownership of Eddie Warne, we are doing the high intensity workouts required to improve in this sport. The heavy Olympic lifting and endurance runs as well as the nutritional support are sure to improve our personal bests this year.

September 14:

Two team members competed at the Canadian Nationals in Quinte West this weekend. Louis Boiteau continued to show huge leaps of improvement running at 1:41 on final day and Dean Morrow, hampered by a sprained ankle, ran a 1:54. The team would like to thank all of our sponsors for their support and hope to see them again next year.

May 23:

The team will be challenging some of our local athletes and emergency services teams from the region in a relay style stair climb. This is the Ron Lancaster Memorial Climb for Cancer, a worthy cause dedicated to making a difference in the fight against cancer. Come out and cheer for your Hamilton Combat Team.    Click Here to View Poster

August 16:

Two members of the team competed in Brampton this past weekend. Louis Boiteau, in his second ever race ran a 1:51, ten seconds faster than his last race. Dean Morrow ran a clean 1:45 to take the bronze medal in the over 40 division. Injuries have set the team back of late but we hope to back to full strength by nationals.

July:

The Team will be displaying their skills on the fifty yard line this Saturday when the Hamilton Ti-Cats take on the Saskatchewan Rough Riders. The demonstration will take place at half time where two teams will race for combat glory. Before the game, please come and see us at the Melrose entrance where we will be with Box 43 and the antique fire truck. The team is selling vouchers for any Ti-Cat game (except the Labour Day Classic) for $25. These are $35 seats and some of the funds will go to the team.
